About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for a designated portfolio. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, offering expert advice on talent decisions to ensure alignment with the City’s values, behaviours, and leadership capabilities. Your role will be key in delivering a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Work type: Temporary Full Time - 6 Month Opportunity
Classification: Commencing at $103,066.18 pa plus super
Key responsibilities include:
- Build effective relationships, contribute to a positive team culture, and deliver end-to-end recruitment processes aligned with the City’s objectives and values, while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with departmental goals, support diversity objectives, and manage talent sourcing and pipelines.
- Provide expert advice on hiring, conduct assessments, ensure compliance, and manage onboarding while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Support business and Talent Acquisition plans, monitor progress, drive continuous improvement, and manage projects to optimise quality, cost, and efficiency.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated people skills to support, influence and collaborate with relevant stakeholders with effective time management ability.
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated successful experience in collaborating and influencing stakeholders to achieve business objectives through Talent Acquisition.
- Effective problem solving and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes.
- Developed writing and speaking skills to align with stakeholders and achieve support for task outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment as required by the task.
- Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
