A well-established manufacturing business in NSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversea the reliability, safety, and performance of onsite equipment and infrastructure.
This hands-on role is ideal for a proactive leader with strong mechanical and/or electrical trade knowledge, who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting. You’ll be responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations, supervising internal teams and contractors, and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance across site equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot faults, carry out repairs, and manage upgrades to plant systems
- Lead a small internal maintenance team and allocate daily tasks based on operational priorities
- Supervise and liaise with external contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and permit protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to maximise efficiency
- Oversee the procurement and stock control of parts and components
- Ensure all systems and practices meet WHS and legislative requirements
- Collaborate with internal departments on site planning and project support
- Complete administrative tasks including raising purchase requisitions in SAP
Essential Criteria
- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical (required)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and maintenance software
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High attention to safety, reliability, and detail
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Driver licence
Location: Wetherill Park NSW
Salary: $110,000-$120,000 per annum + superannuation. Paid overtime.
Shift: Day shift
