We have been in the business of geosynthetic engineering for over 40 years. Geosynthetic engineering is the use of synthetic materials in civil engineering projects to achieve more cost effective, environmentally sound and safer construction outcomes.
Geofabrics Albury, we manufacture and distribute geosynthetic products throughout Australia, New Zealand, and other international markets. We operate in various sectors with expertise in infrastructure including roads, rail, mining, coastal, waste, sports and recreation, renewables, water, defence, aviation and ports.
Our product innovations include Bidim Green geotextiles and Megaflo Green socked slotted panel pipes, Laminated Geotextile products, all made utilising recycled plastic material.
We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to joino ur team in Geofabrics Albury.
The opportunity:
As the Maintenance Manager at Geofabrics Albury manufacturing facility, you will lead and oversee the maintenance department, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in our Albury manufacturing plant. This role offers the chance to shape a high-performing team, drive continuous improvements, and contribute to a sustainable future. Join us to leverage your engineering expertise and leadership skills and be part of the Management Team, leading and supporting the Albury Geofabrics Site.
The role:
Reporting to the Albury Site and Manufacturing Manager, key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Be a leader on safety and implement effective risk management practices.
- Oversee effective planning of maintenance schedules, preventative maintenance compliance, major repairs, and process improvements to ensure maximum plant reliability and productivity.
- Effectively manage planned maintenance shutdowns for effective and efficient plant maintenance.
- Manage effective and responsive breakdown and emergency maintenance where needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Manage the maintenance budget, control waste, optimise spare parts inventory, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Address skill gaps, enhance technical competence within the team, and ensure to support effective planned preventative maintenance and unplanned breakdown maintenance supporting 24/7 manufacturing operation.
- Liaise with other functions to identify key issues affecting line performance and develop solutions and execute actions to rectify the issues.

- Analytical, Process and Continuous Improvement focused (Lean)
