A highly unique opportunity to join a well established Tier Two Commercial builder in Sydney, who work on mixed New Build and Fitout projects up to $120 million AUD.

As part of the team you will have exposure to a range of high-end projects in particular commercial fit out installations involving detailed architectural, structural and trades services, valued from $2- $15 million AUD. In which the successful SCA will be admnistering for a large new build scheme comprising of major structural steel and concrete componants. Ideally the successful individual will be working for an active Australian Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder in a head contracting capacity.

As a Senior contracts administrator you will join a company with a steady portfolio of upcoming projects which cross the marketplace in areas of government, defense and commercial construction, with high levels of services, fit out and refurbishment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project co-ordination and program scheduling for multiple project schemes.
• Assist with estimates and tender submissions, budget and project pricing, preparing tender documents, fee proposals, scopes, procurement; project works administration and contract finalisation.
• Assist in preparation of project budgets, subcontract agreements, progress claims and variations.
• Assist with Resource planning, including administering project costs in line with standards and procedures.
• Be client facing and involved in meetings.
• Provide general assistance to project managers.

Skills and experience of the Senior Contracts Administrator

• 5 Years plus experience as a Contracts Administrator working for an Australian recognised Tier 2 or 3 Commercial fit out head contracting firm in Australia.
• Advantageous experience - Trade qaulified / Carpentry
• Solid experience providing subcontractor and supplier sourcing and procurement.
• Good attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Initiative and be goal-oriented
• You must be a team player
• Ambitious and interested in company growth
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Sharepoint, Teams.
• PROCORE proficiency.
• Knowledge of QHSE, WH&S, Hazardous materials and associated documentation.
