About the Company:

With over 40 years of industry experience, this highly regarded company has built a reputation for delivering government, commercial, education, health, and industrial projects valued up to $750 million. Known for their commitment to excellence and innovation, they continue to win major projects, and they’re now looking to add a Senior Contracts Administrator to their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Prepare cost forecasts, monitor the project’s financial status, and produce cash flow statements.
• Report Generation: Provide key financial input for management reports to ensure transparency and control.
• Tendering & Procurement: Lead the preparation of tender documentation and manage the procurement process for subcontractors, including pricing schedules, scope of works, and comparative tender analysis.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Claims & Progress: Liaise directly with the client to manage progress claims related to the Head Contract.

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a similar field.
• Proven experience working on commercial projects and within Tiers 1 or 2.
• Experience on projects over $50 million as a Senior Contracts Administrator.
• Solid local experience in a Contracts Administrator role, with a track record of managing projects from start to finish.
• Deep understanding of Australian commercial and legal issues related to head contracts.
• Working knowledge of major building trades.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure successful outcomes for all parties.
