About the role

The Change Leader will work across the organisation, providing change advice and support on key City projects; and delivering a program of support activities to build the organisations capacity and capability to change.

The Change Leader will sit within the Organisational Planning and Development business unit, which is a high performing team, building capacity, providing support and leading several centralised functions across the organisation.

The Change Leader is responsible for the development, implementation, regular review and promotion of the City’s Change Management Framework. This involves the development of processes, templates, protocols and roles and responsibilities to be applied; in addition to ongoing support and advice to end users of the framework; in turn driving improvement of change across the organisation.

To build organisational capacity and capability to change, this role will develop and implement a comprehensive suite of organisational development activities, such as training, educational seminars and resources; and measure the impact of these initiatives.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Provide change advice and support for key organisational projects
  • Provide support to staff across the organisation leading smaller change activities
  • Continuously review the City’s Change Framework and supporting resources
  • Develop and implement a program of activities to build organisational capacity and capability to change.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor Degree Project Management, Change Management, Business Management or Commerce
  • Relevant experience in Change Management
  • Experience in performing analysis, making projections and business recommendations based on information and data analysis
  • High level interpersonal skills related to change, such as stakeholder management
  • A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.

The salary for this position will be from $107,720 to $121,862 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
