Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships, track stock levels, resolve inventory issues, and collaborate with 3PL partners to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Support and oversight of the roles of Inventory Officer, providing guidance, fostering professional development, and addressing operational issues as they arise

Maintain optimal supply terms, resolve pricing issues, and coordinate with local and international suppliers.

Create purchase orders, manage supplier negotiations, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Oversee global shipping, manage freight partners, and ensure on-time delivery with accurate documentation.

Track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and liaise with 3PL partners to ensure accurate stock data.

Address short deliveries, faulty stock, and slow-moving inventory while mitigating stock write-offs.

Work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth inventory operations.

As the successful candidate, you'll have:

3 years proven experience in stock control, purchasing, logistics or a related field working with suppliers (local and international) preferably in a supervisory role.

Knowledge of global shipping, freight forwarding, and working with 3PL providers.

Strong analytical skills to track and report on stock levels and supply chain performance.

Experience using inventory management systems (Cin7, Netstock or similar software).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools

Understanding of online order processing for B2B and B2C operations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for handling supplier negotiations and issue resolution.
