About the opportunity:

Seeking a Data Analyst to work for a large Federal Government client within a high performing team delivering analytics and workload measurement.

Software system, platform or solution: Microsoft 365, Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, FABRIC and SQL Server.

Duties/ Deliverables:

• PowerBI dashboard and report building including data wrangling using SQL analysis and visualisation.
• Obtain in-depth knowledge of the branch business area through data analysis, engagement, and consultation with subject matter experts within business.
• Write clear, business meaningful code documentation that explains the intent and mechanics of scripts.

You will demonstrate the following experience:

• SQL skills, SQL Server, writing complex queries, stored procedures, views etc.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining databases and extending sources of information and processes to support and enhance analysis.
• Assessing quality of data and removing or cleaning data to robustly identify and interpret trends and patterns in data sets.
• Building, delivering, and maintaining business intelligence reports, dashboards using PowerBI, Report Builder and advance DAX calculations.
• Ability to work independently in a rigorous, yet extremely rapid environment.
• Ability to deliver incremental production changes on a weekly to fortnightly basis.
