DATA TRANSFORMATION SPECIALIST

Our QLD Government client is currently seeking a Data Transformation Specialist to support its enterprise-wide data initiatives. This is a key role focused on building and maintaining scalable data solutions that drive decision-making and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor and maintain robust data transformation pipelines between systems.
• Create and support data models, dashboards and reports to meet varied business requirements.
• Apply data governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support data usage and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate and advise on new technologies to enhance data capabilities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Expertise in:

• Strong experience in data transformation, ETL development or data integration.
  
  
• Microsoft SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS)
• T-SQL scripting
• Power BI and Tableau
• Data modelling and transformation techniques
• Proven understanding of AGILE methodologies and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:

Experience with WhereScape, Microsoft Fabric, and Snowflake platforms.
