Palms Veterinary Group is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to join our thriving Hermit Park practice in Townsville, Queensland. We are a well-established and respected veterinary practice, committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and building strong relationships with our clients. Our team of experienced veterinarians and support staff work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all animals in our care. As the face of the clinic, this part-time role forms an integral part of our practice, providing exceptional customer service to our patients, clients and team.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming clients and patients in a warm, friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing client records, and handling client inquiries

Providing administrative support to the veterinary team, including ordering and maintaining inventory

Maintaining a welcoming, clean and organised reception area and consult rooms

Demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills

What we're looking for

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role within the veterinary or animal care industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, patients, and the veterinary team in a variety of situations

Excellent time management skills with great attention to detail
