Full-time, Part Time and casual Vet Nurse Position Available at Rossmore Veterinary Hospital

A certificate IV qualified Vet Nurse is required for busy modern veterinary Hospital in Western Sydney. This Hospital is located in Rossmore, 40 minute drive from Sydney CBD. We are seeking an experienced vet nurse to join our team.

Rossmore Veterinary Hospital is a mixed veterinary practice who are dedicated to providing quality professional service to our clients. The hospital treats predominantly small animals with a small number of large animals.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

· Undertaking general husbandry duties

· Assisting vets with treatments, consultations, examinations and surgery

· Monitoring general anesthesia and surgical monitoring

· Use of Idexx inhouse blood machines

· Client service and reception duties, including admissions and discharges

The suitable candidate will have:

Certificate IV in Vet nursing or equivalent

Excellent communication & teamwork skills

A high level of commitment to client service

A desire to achieve excellence in patient care

Be competent using in-house blood machines

Experience working with companion animals and large animals

Experience using Vision computer system
