Position: Works Supervisor – Commercial Floorcoverings

Location: Sydney Wide – Office based at Guildford

Typical Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm (Generally starting on-site)

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Works Supervisor to lead the delivery of our commercial floorcovering projects. This role is key to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage the installation of floor coverings, coordinate with site foremen, monitor materials, and communicate with stakeholders. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and organisational skills, we’d love to hear from you!

Requirements:

Strong communication skills.

Proficiency in using computers, emails and job management software (on the job training provided for our specific software).

Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.

Exceptional time management and organisational skills.

Construction background preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site:

Inspect sites to confirm project requirements.

Oversee and monitor project progress throughout the duration.

Coordinate with site foremen to ensure proper scheduling, task prioritisation, and the handling of urgent or additional work.

Conduct site inspections and take precise measurements for tenders and new projects.

Ensure strict adherence to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations on-site.

Office:

Manage builder correspondence, including emails, defect rectification.

Address variations or additional work arising from site inspections.
