To lead and manage geological modelling and mineral resource estimation activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong geostatistical background, advanced 3D modelling skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality, compliant resource models in line with international reporting standards. The candidate will play a critical role in interpreting geological data, building robust resource models, and ensuring accurate and compliant mineral resource estimations to support exploration and mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Compile, interpret, and validate geological and assay data for resource modelling.

Create and maintain 3D geological and resource models using software such as Leapfrog, Surpac, or Datamine.

Conduct mineral resource estimations in accordance with international reporting codes (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101, SAMREC).

Collaborate with exploration teams to guide drilling programs and ensure quality data collection.

Analyse geostatistical data and apply appropriate estimation techniques (e.g., kriging, inverse distance).

Generate technical reports, including resource statements, block models, and supporting documentation.

Participate in site visits, geological mapping, and drillhole logging as required.

Work closely with mine planning, metallurgy, and engineering teams to integrate geological models with operational plans.

Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations regarding geological practices and resource reporting.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or Earth Sciences (Master’s or PhD preferred).

· Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in mineral resource modelling and estimation, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.

· Proficient in 3D geological and block modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, Vulcan).

· Advanced understanding of geostatistics, variography, and estimation techniques (e.g., ordinary kriging, inverse distance, multiple indicator kriging).

· Strong working knowledge of international resource reporting codes (JORC, NI 43-101, SAMREC).

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Proven experience in technical report writing and project documentation.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and mentor staff.

· Able to travel to remote sites or international locations as required.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with GIS platforms and geological databases (e.g., acQuire, MX Deposit, Fusion).

· Familiarity with mine planning or economic evaluation software is a plus.

· Competent Person (CP) or Qualified Person (QP) status under relevant reporting codes preferred.
