The Details:
There are currently 2 high grade, structurally complex, narrow vein pits in operation, with multiple other project areas advancing for more potential underground & open pits mines. A robust mine life of 10 years should put the mind at ease also. This is a really exciting time to be joining this small, but growing producer, who also has another operation and projects interstate. Good for career development and diversity over time.

• The roster is almost directly to site, a short flight from Perth, on an 8/6 Perth FIFO roster. Excellent upgraded camp also.
• Can suit a highly experienced Senior looking for a change of scenery, new challenge. OR, are you ready for that step up? Feel like you have the open pit runs on the board? Have been in 2IC Senior roles? Chasing that next move, challenge?
• $$ will depend on experience ($170-175K base + Super + 20% bonus structure + Share incentive + other perks).

Additional specifics to spark your curiosity:

• Work with the Mine Geo’s and the other swing will be the B2B Senior Mine Geo + Mine Geos. Also a few Grads thrown in the mix too.
• Need to have an excellent understanding of field processes – ore spotting, GC drilling, in pit sampling. Ability to dissect grade issues – overmining and ore control.
• Sound understanding of blasting and blast movement
• Drive for mapping and integrating geological data into interps
• Multiple ROM pad management
• Attention to detail and data management. Experience with databases (Access/Datashed/Plexer/Excel). Can do attitude, can build spreadsheets and databases to handle new data. Ability to manage incoming data, update block models etc
• MUST(!!!!) be able to use 3D software (Datamine, Leapfrog – vein modelling), need someone to get the drilling data, make domains and model grade into it
• MUST be able to lead the pit recon – generate claim mined data and pit recon
• Report writing – must be able to produce a technical but concise weekly/monthly report
• Drive to improve processes – they have processes, but there might be a better way & they’re open to it!
