Our client is a well-regarded South-East Queensland based Firm looking for either a Senior Legal Assistant wishing to progress, or, a current Paralegal to join its leading Plaintiff Personal Injuries team.

Working alongside a Special Counsel, this role will suit someone who ideally has experience working on Plaintiff Personal Injury matters and is available on a full-time basis.

Your duties would include, but not be limited to:

• Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties including insurers
• Provide Paralegal type support to your author including drafting of legal documents, briefs and correspondence
• Apply a proficient understanding of relevant legislation, proficient legal and procedural knowledge and an ability to interpret legislation, legal and other correspondence and documentation.
• Arranging of medicolegal, conferences and other appointments
• Diary and email management of your author

About You

• You will ideally hold 2yrs+ Legal Support experience working on WorkCover, PIPA, CTP or Medical Negligence matters.
• If you come from a Litigation or Insurance Claims Manager background, please also consider this opportunity as this Firm will value your transferrable skillset.
• You will hold strong organisation and attention to detail, and the ability to work well autonomously and within a team.
• Unfortunately, law students will not be considered for this opportunity.
