About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee daily farm operations, supervise field staff, and ensure the safe, efficient execution of farming activities. This hands-on role plays a key part in ensuring high productivity and adherence to company and safety standards across the Bundaberg farms.

Reporting directly to the Bundaberg Area Manager and General Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating task allocation and ensuring timely completion
• Completing and managing safety and operational paperwork
• Supervising and mentoring field staff in day-to-day operations
• Identifying operational improvements and collaborating across teams
• Operating and maintaining agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
• Supporting the recruitment, induction, and training of new team members

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team coordination experience
• A proactive and safety-focused approach to farm management
• Great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Relevant qualifications in agriculture (advantageous but not essential)
• At least 3 years’ experience in farm operations with sound agricultural knowledge
