A little about the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Project Management Office.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to deadlines and within budget. You will work with Key Assets staff, as well as with external implementation partners where required, to deliver projects in line with the agreed plan.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budget and resource allocation.
  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the effective execution of projects, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure effective change management practices are undertaken, both through individual efforts as well as working in conjunction with a change management function.
  • Prepare and present detailed and summary project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.

The base salary for this position is $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 /annum (based on 1.0 FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a full-time, ongoing position.

You can be based at any of our offices, nationally!


About you

We are looking for demonstrated experience in business and technology Project Management, and a proven track record in successfully managing multiple large projects from inception to completion in medium to large organisations.

The successful candidate will also come with:

  • A recognised Project Management qualification (Prince 2/PMBOK/PMP).
  • 5 years' experience in a Project Management role.
  • Experience in developing relevant artefacts from scratch, including project plans, reporting mechanisms, and risk and action trackers.
  • Strong background in stakeholder management, including negotiating and managing expectations.
  • Experience in establishing and leading virtual project teams, both internal and with partners, and motivating these teams, creating accountability and achieving project outcomes.
