1 – 2 PAE Lawyer for Personal Injury Firm

A&E Legal Pty Ltd is a leading boutique Personal Injury law firm specialising in personal injury claims and matters that affect everyday Australians and we have over 70 years' combined experience in this field. We have an entry level legal and solicitor support role available in our Perth office for an organised individual that wants to get their feet in the door and work their way from the ground up. In this role you will support one of our directors while he teaches you how to be a great personal injury lawyer. This team works hard and are focused on providing great services to clients.

The role

You will support your team by providing internal and external services to the day-to-day running of currently existing claim files. Your duties will include:

Meeting and greeting clients

Printing and saving incoming correspondence

Booking legal conferences

Sending and saving emails/faxes

Identifying legal matters and recognising legal documents

Copying, scanning and filing of paper and digital files

Actively assisting the team to ensure efficient work practices are maintained

Preparing court and tribunal documents

Attending court and tribunals

Consulting with clients; and

Generally doing legal work and assisting the director.

The candidate

You should have previous personal injury law experience and have good touch-typing skills, a good handle on Outlook and be able to demonstrate that you are committed and motivated to work in a professional environment. Past experience with LEAP management system would be beneficial. We are looking for a down to earth individual that is well organised and has excellent attention to detail and is ready to start their career in the legal industry.
