AVE Technologies is Newcastle and the Hunter Valley's premium Electrotechnology Solution Provider and we are currently looking for a Graduate Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer to join our expanding engineering team.

Your new role

You’ll hit the ground running, contributing to some of our most innovative and high-stakes projects—ranging from advanced automation systems to complex infrastructure solutions.

Working alongside a dynamic team of senior engineers with expertise in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, and Operational Technology, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of industries including mining, government, manufacturing, and commercial sectors. About you

We’re looking for a technically-minded and adaptable grad to join our team.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline (completed within the past 1–2 years; Undergraduates of either degree are also encouraged to apply if you are in the final year of your studies).

Strong understanding of control systems, automation, robotics, and embedded systems.

Exposure to CAD tools, circuit design, PLC programming, or similar.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability in hands-on projects (e.g., capstone projects, uni competitions, or industry placements).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
