About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer - B. Eng (Elec) - to join us in our Melbourne Head Office.

Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for creating project-based design work for the crane industry. The role will include liaising with customers, service, production and the installation department to ensure projects are successfully completed. This is a vital position that requires an individual with excellent communication. You, the successful candidate, will grow and expand in terms of project duties and responsibilities as your experience and acquisition of knowledge of our product and industry increases.

This position is primarily office based with only occasional local site visits. As our industry requires, you may need to work at heights and attend heavy industrial sites. Of course, full training and induction will be offered prior to this, though any relevant licenses or qualifications will be highly regarded.

A little bit about you

We are looking for recent graduates but candidates with up to 3 years’ experience are also encouraged to apply. This position requires a professional person with initiative and a 'can do' mentality.

You will naturally be a team player and thrive in a fast-paced design environment, whilst maintaining a strong focus on detail and high-quality output. Your written and spoken English will be exemplary, and you will have an aptitude for Electrical Calculations, drafting and automation design. You must have a good understanding of electrical circuits drawings and demonstrate ability with CAD (provide examples).
