Hello. We’re The Y WA and we’re on the lookout for a passionate OSHC Area Manager to join our exceptional Children Services team based in our head office in Welshpool (Perth, WA).

What you’ll be doing
You’ll start with a warm welcome from your General Manager OSHC and OSHC management team (fellow Area Managers) who’ll be keen to assist with your training and onboarding. You’ll then be allocated your own OSHC (Outside of School Hours Care) portfolio to enable you to build valuable relationships with your Supervisors and Educators. This will become your team to lead, mentor and support to help them provide a safe and stimulating environment for our primary school aged children. You’ll be involved in a range of activities, from advising on compliance related to the NQF to providing training, coaching and performance reviews and championing our Y children & young people safeguarding. You’ll be great in this role if you…
- Have at least 12 months experience in a supervisory or management role in OSHC / children services
- Hold a Certificate IV in OSHC or Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent)
- Are confident with admin tasks, team leadership, and communication
- Are a child-safe advocate with genuine care for education and wellbeing
- Can travel to services across metro and regional WA as needed
- Can obtain a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence and First Aid (HLTAID004 or equivalent)
- Have key stakeholder relationship skills including contract management and OSHC tenders
