About the role:

We’re seeking a proactive, team-oriented technician with a strong can-do attitude who goes the extra mile to exceed client expectations. As a Portable Fire Technician, you’ll be responsible for the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire protection equipment in line with Australian Standards.

This full-time field-based position runs Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am–2:30pm — yes, early Friday finishes!

What you’ll do:

• Install & maintain fire extinguishers and fire blankets
• Inspect & test fire hydrants, hose reels, emergency lighting, and fire doors
• Diagnose issues and carry out repairs or replacements as needed

What you’ll need:
• Solid understanding of relevant Australian Standards
• QBCC licence (essential)
• Open manual driver’s licence
• White Card and Blue Card
• A positive, customer-focused attitude and pride in your workmanship
