Job Opportunity -

We currently seeking an experience National field Technicon that has the technical aptitude to step up into a National Service specialist role with NSW in 12 months. You must be able to identify technical issues plus have strong technical understanding of engines, hydraulics, and pneumatics and CANBUS control systems. If you can understand electrical systems this would be a massive advantage. Preventative maintenance and breakdown repair of the above products is key to this position within Sydney.

In this position you will required to do the following

Maintain a safe & healthy working environment in compliance with OH & S policies & regulations.

Diagnose on CABUS Systems.

Supervise, Service and Repair of customer equipment as directed

Supervise trades, apprentices & trades assistants

Manage an maintain workshop and work with senior management to achieve objectivities

Ensure the work carried out in the workshop is in compliance with the job specifications

Ensure all time cards, time recording is logged correctly

Ensure all personnel are suitably trained and experienced in the work they perform

Oversee schematics of new builds and openly communicate within internal departments on technical issues and problems.

Communicate effectively to the OEM in supply and logistic issues.

Manage the field service team and support customers from the Sydney operation

Communicate and organise the internal engineering teams

Oversee full operation and reduce all issues within the operations.

Support key contractors with technical application engineering whilst giving them updated advice on working with the OEM.

It’s essential that you can travel throughout Australia and provide technical engineering to key customers. You going to be moved into management so you need to be able to show balance gut have cool head in overseeing staff and being the leader that the business needs. At the same time implementing new technology an leading from the front in supervision

Key Requirements –

5 – 10 years within Field Service within heavy mobile equipment

Mechanical Trade background with further qualifications in electric over hydraulic.

Diagnostic experience

Hydrostatic experience

Strong Background in hydraulics systems & mobile equipment

Exceptional at trouble shooting and problem solving technical problems.

Excellent attention to detail

Strong communication skills

Willingness to travel throughout Australia.

If you have experience working on Foundation or Pilling rigs then we would love to hear from you.

This role is all about you wanting to come off the tools within 12 – 18 months and look at building a national service department and work for an international OEM. You will go under some major training programmers and you must be willing to learn and drive this forward like it’s your own business. This is once in lifetime opportunity must you must be willing to do the hard yards.
