Field Service Technician

Are you detail-oriented, dependable and enjoy working on Machinery? If so, this is the position for you.

Our Field service technician's responsibilities include installing our specialist mining products, running tests and completing reports. You will collaborate with other professionals and be able to make useful recommendations wherever possible. To be successful in this position you should demonstrate strong self-discipline and a passion for safety and compliance.

About the role

Installation of specialist mining safety products to client's equipment

Based out of our Smithfield Warehouse, you will be required to travel to Hunter Valley & Newcastle areas

Complete inductions and travel onto Mine & Mining Contractors' sites

Monday to Friday (very minimal Weekend and Night work)

Coordination and installation planning with Clients and Production Team

Running tests and completing reports.

Assist production team as required

About you

Mechanical understanding would be an advantage but no skills or formal qualifications required

Able to pass a National Police Clearance and random Drug & Alcohol testing

Willing to travel and on the odd occasional, stay away overnight

Have sound Time management

Ability to compile technical reports

To be thorough and pay attention to detail

Must be physically fit and get into tight places

Hold a current & valid Manual Drivers License

Be punctual and able work without constant supervision
