Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hardware Technician to join our growing team in Gladstone. Key Responsibilities

· Support and maintain computer systems and peripherals by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware faults in mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices.

· Perform precision repairs and component replacements, including screens, batteries, connectors, and motherboards.

· Install and configure software or firmware updates relevant to hardware functionality.

· Conduct quality control checks to ensure all repairs meet company standards.

· Maintain an organized and safe workspace, ensuring the proper care and handling of tools and equipment.

· Keep accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and customer interactions for tracking and quality assurance.

· Assist customers with technical queries, offering clear and professional explanations of issues and solutions.

· Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry repair trends, and newly released device models.

· Adhere strictly to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols and follow all internal repair procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electronic device repair or a related technical field.

Certificate or diploma in Information Technology, Electronics, or a similar discipline preferred.

Excellent technical aptitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Sound understanding of mobile devices and computer hardware architectures.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Effective communication and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
