We're looking for an experienced educator to become part of our welcoming team in the stunning Samford Valley. Our centre is uniquely set on 7 acres, offering an incredible environment for outdoor learning. This newly created role is key to helping us to deliver a high-quality, nature-based learning program for the children. The role will include leading the Bush Kindy program, gardening, sustainability projects, driving the centre's sustainability plan, building and maintaining community connections in this area)

Qualification: Preferably Diploma qualified or nearing completion (minimum Certificate III qualified)

Availability: The role will initially be 2-3 days per week. There is the opportunity for additional shifts at the centre covering lunches and non-contact time if required.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with running a Bush Kindy program.

Previous experience in an early childhood setting

Leadership experience

Ability to manage own time and use initiate to plan and implement projects

Able to form genuine relationships with children, parents and team members

Fantastic communication skills and the ability to work as a team

Excellent time management and organisation skills

Good working knowledge of the EYLF & NQS/NQF

Able to plan and implement a quality early learning program

Ability to document children’s individual learning

Able to critically reflect and strive for continuous improvement

Essential Criteria

ACECQA approved qualification

Current Blue Card

ACECQA approved First Aid & CPR certificate

Child Protection certificate

Experience in a similar role
