About the role
Gumdale State School P&C is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Coordinator/Educational Leader to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team. This part-time role (37.5hrs/week) will be responsible for supporting the Coordinator in day-to-day operations and leading the educational program at the Gumdale State School OSHC.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Coordinator in the overall management of the serviced, including compliance and administration
Oversee the educational program, ensuring it aligns with the My Time our Place Learning Framework
Mentor and support the educators in delivering high-quality care
Foster positive relationships with children, families and the broader school community
Ensure the service operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements
What we're looking for
Relevant tertiary qualification in education, early childhood, or a related field
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Coordinator, Educational Leader or equivalent role in an OSHC or early learning setting
Demonstrated ability to design and implement engaging educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with children, families and the school community
Excellent organisational and time management skills to juggle competing priorities
Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time, Our Place and other relevant regulations and guidelines
Passion for providing high-quality care and education for school-aged children
