Position: Production Operator

Employment Type: Full Time (38 hours per week)

About Us:

Aquamate was established back in 1986 and today, we supply and install polymer lined steel tanks across Australia and around the world. Our specialised fabrication workshop operating in Tonsley, South Australia, makes us the only vertically integrated tank manufacturer in the country, manufacturing our own tank shells, roof structures and geomembrane liners.

About the Role:

This Production Operator role will see you performing manufacturing tasks efficiently and effectively to ensure our products are delivered on time, every time, defect free to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate machinery & equipment, monitor and adjust ensure conformity of product to standard, product fabrication

· Set & calibrate various machinery /tooling to enable the operation of production machinery

· Review customer information (as required) including drawings and specifications to minimise errors prior to commencement of work

· Follow processes & procedures to ensure timely completion and dispatch

· Conduct quality inspections and actively participate in continual improvement activities

· Adherence to SWMES to ensure safe and environmentally friendly work practice

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Requirements:

· At least one year of relevant work experience and a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent. One year of relevant work experience can substitute for a qualification

· Experience and technical aptitude in fabrication & welding in a manufacturing environment

· Knowledge and experience in production operations and manufacturing processes and techniques

· Knowledge of raw materials relevant to metal trades

· Experience with quality control systems and processes

· Understanding of machines and tools, and their relevant processes

· Interpersonal communication skills and a can-do attitude

· Forklift Licence
