About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join CaFHS as a Clinical Nurse, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing nursing services across various health service settings, consolidated through experience and/or further study
  • Developing from a competent to a proficient practitioner
  • Accepting accountability for own practice standards and activities delegated to others
  • Providing guidance and supporting the development of less experienced staff
  • Performing a predominantly clinical role while also managing assigned portfolios
  • Negotiating portfolio responsibilities in alignment with the employee’s career development and performance review plans

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate; or
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice
  • Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
