HiTalent Recruitment is seeking a Social Worker to join a well-respected and reputable not-for-profit organisation in Canberra that is funded to deliver inclusive mental health services to the community. Are you a compassionate and skilled mental health professional with a desire to support clients by providing individualised, evidence based interventions and case management?

We are working with a well-respected not-for-profit organisation to seek a dedicated Social Worker to join their team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing assessment, triage and psychological therapies to support clients' long-term recovery.

Reporting to the Clinical Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

Deliver trauma-informed mental health care services, including intake and assessment and case management.

Perform risk assessments, case formulations and treatment plans for clients with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

Actively participate in individual and group supervision in addition to professional development activities.

Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Uphold organisational values and policies while maintaining a commitment to quality service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

A tertiary degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW

Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients experiencing mental health challenges.

Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
