About the Role

As a fully qualified electrician with James Skewes Electrical, you’ll be a vital part of our team completing high end projects. You’ll be mentoring and supporting the development of our apprentices, running projects with support and collaborating with private customers, builders and businesses. Your roles & responsibilities will include:

Working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.

Running projects from start to finish with support.

Training apprentices, supporting their skill development and growth.

Communicating with private customers, builders and business owners to ensure projects are completing efficiently and to a high standard.

Using job management software to maintain accurate records or work completed and materials used.

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Australian Standards.

First & second fix in a variety of settings including new homes, renovations and small commercial projects.

Completing home automation, data and security projects.

About You

We’re looking for an electrician who has both technical skills and will be a great fit within our team. The successful applicant will have:

Experience in domestic residential preferred.

Great work ethic, be reliable and motivated to work in an efficient and safe way.

The ability to problem solve and come up with creative solutions.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Australian Drivers Licence & ability to drive a manual vehicle.

White Card.
