About the role

As an Industrial Electrician with Interstate Electrical Service, you will be responsible for providing electrical installation, maintenance and repair services to a range of industrial and commercial clients. This is a permanent position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. If you are a qualified and experienced electrician with a passion for the trades industry, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of electrical systems, equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and carry out repairs to restore operation
• Install new electrical infrastructure, such as wiring, switchgear and control panels
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

What we're looking for

• Qualified electrician with an Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent
• Demonstrated capability in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
