Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified butcher, full-time or casual, who is passionate about providing a friendly experience to customers. This role involves serving cutting/preparing meat, serving customers, handling money and payments, and ensuring excellent customer service.

5 days per week or if casual around your availability, working every second Saturday. Availability for early mornings a must.

Responsibilities:

Cut, process and prepare meat product

Greet and assist customers, providing advice and answering questions about our products

Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently

Weigh, package, and label products for customers

Maintain accurate pricing and attractive product displays

Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the shop front

Coordinate orders, pickups, and deliveries

Assist with stocking and inventory management

Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls

Qualifications and Skills:

Certificate III in Meat Processing (Retail Butcher)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Positive, proactive work ethic

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
