The Tasmanian Hospitality Association (THA) is the peak industry body for hotels, accommodation, restaurants, cafes, caterers, community, sporting and RSL clubs in Tasmania.

We are seeking a driven individual who seeks to provide the very best IR & HR service to our members and industry.

Advise THA members on Industrial Relations issues such as Award interpretation, wage rates, templates and contracts, unfair dismissal, WHS, EEO, HR and any other specific issues;

Write articles for industry specific newsletters and magazines as required

Draft submissions to government at all levels as required;

Liaison with Fair Work Ombudsman

Support & represent members prior to and at Unfair Dismissal (UFD) conciliations including associated admin & liaison and also TIC conciliations/conferences

Cross-promote as appropriate non-portfolio THA services and offerings

Travel around the state when required to conduct venue visits or run sessions for industry and members as needed;

Other tasks as directed by the CEO.

Start – ASAP

Remuneration - $110,000k - $140,000k P.A + Super (Depending on experience and Qualifications)
