About the role

This is a full-time Kitchen Manager position at Gracie's at 4 Pines Orange', located in Orange, NSW. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff scheduling

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation

Develop and implement efficient kitchen workflows and procedures

Manage and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff, providing training and development opportunities

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery

Monitor and control kitchen costs, including ingredient expenses and labour budgets

Contribute to the development and refinement of the restaurant's menu and culinary offerings

What we're looking for

Experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment

Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences

Strong understanding of food preparation, menu design, and kitchen operations

Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills

Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the front-of-house team
