Flo has been in operation for just over 2 years and enjoyed consistent growth with minimal marketing.

We specialise in corporate catering which has gradually evolved into event & private catering as well.

The business is in a great position to take things to the next level in collaboration with the successful applicant.

We're looking for a head chef with extensive experience managing a catering kitchen & large scale events to head up our kitchen and assist in leading our team.

We're very proud of our team & workplace culture - we're looking for someone who is committed to helping us maintain this as we continue to grow.

Flo is also carbon neutral and committed to minimising waste.

The role is predominantly Monday to Friday daytime hours with some flexibility required depending on event schedule.

Your role will include overall management of the kitchen operations:

- Menu Development & COGS Management: ordering, sourcing inputs, managing suppliers, monitoring COGS and maintaining cost KPIs

- Food prep & deadline mgmt

- Staff Hiring, Training & Performance Management.

- Kitchen Rostering & Wage Management

- Kitchen Systemisation

- Event Planning and Logistics

- Food Safety & Kitchen Hygiene.

We're approaching the capacity of our current kitchen and as such we're considering our next options for expansion. We plan to take this next step with the support of the successful applicant - there are many exciting options on the table.
