About the Client:

Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety, and environmental performance.

About the Role:

WorkPac is currently in search of an Induction Coordinator to join our esteemed client's team, based on in Karratha. This position is Monday to Friday, full time hours.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the onboarding and induction process for new starters across RTIO and Dampier Salt.

Maintain and update weekly go/no-go lists and participate in related meetings.

Communicate induction requirements to all stakeholders, including logistics and technical needs.

Organise and manage induction sessions at the Dampier Training Centre, including room bookings and catering.

Ensure technology and resources are ready for a smooth check-in and welcome process.

Manage stock and distribute induction materials (e.g. backpacks, booklets, gate cards).

Handle purchasing, invoicing, and respond to queries related to inductions and facility use.

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in onboarding, training coordination, or administration roles

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Confident using Microsoft Office and basic technology (e.g. laptops, iPads)

Experience handling logistics, scheduling, and room/resource bookings

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
