We are seeking suitable applications for a highly capable and values-driven Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic Health, Safety and Wellbeing team at North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS).

This is for one (1) Permanent Part Time appointment at 30.4 hours (0.4 FTE) hours per fortnight and one (1) Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 15.2 hours (0.2 FTE) per fortnight with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

What is our Clinical Psychologist role?

This position is responsible for providing a specialised psychological service to support staff across NMHS. This includes:

  • Identifying need across complex situations and offering triage and assessment, intervention, support, and training to individuals and teams;
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation to promote wellbeing and help manage organisational risk; and
  • Practicing as a Clinical Psychologist and ensuring practice is in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics, NMHS, and WA Health policies and guidelines.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
