About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Timber team in Wagga Wagga. This opportunity is part time for 19 hours per week, working days and hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate within business hours between Monday and Friday.
The Learning and Development Facilitator will work as part of a small and collaborative team and be responsible for training, mentoring, providing guidance and employment related skills development of our supported workforce at Kurrajong Timber.
Reporting to the Timber Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee training of staff and employees living with disability which will include correct use of machinery, best practice WHS and health and wellbeing initiatives
- Facilitate or arrange hands on training that is aligned with employment goals and business requirements
- In consultation with relevant stakeholders review standard operating procedures and training and task analysis forms to be used as the basis for training
- Facilitate work experience, job trial placements and orientation to the worksite for new employees
Although not a requirement to apply applicants with Training and Assessment and/or Individual Support qualifications will be highly regarded.

This position is offered with the salary range of $33.41 – $36.46 per hour + NFP Salary Packaging, Super and Annual Leave Loading.
