Vendor / Supplier Management Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing relationships with external suppliers (vendors) to ensure efficient and effective sourcing of goods and services, while also managing contracts, performance, and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

*Vendor Selection and Sourcing: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting appropriate vendors for a company's needs.

*Contract Negotiation and Management: Negotiating and managing contracts with vendors, including terms, conditions, and pricing.

*Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

*Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Tracking vendor performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.

*Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating risks associated with vendor relationships, such as supply chain disruptions or non-compliance.

*Procurement Process Management: Ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of the procurement process from requisition to payment.

*Vendor Management System Implementation and Maintenance:Utilizing or implementing vendor management systems to streamline processes and track performance.

Key Requirements:

* 3 years of experience as vendor / supplier manager within procurement function

* Previous experience within insurance or banking industry highly regarded

* Experience in some or all aspects of the procurement lifecycle including, but not limited to 'Go to Market' activities, proposal evaluation, commercial analysis, drafting and negotiation of contracts/agreements

*Strong commercial negotiation / recontracting skills

* Exceptional influencing skills coupled with the ability to manage relationships and stakeholders at all levels
