Coonamble Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) is seeking an enthusiastic person to fill the position of People and Culture Manager (PACM). This role will work closely with the Executive team in the delivery and implementation of Human Resource services duties.

The PACM will play a vital role within the Executive team. The PACM will provide high level administrative support and advice to the Executive team as needed and report directly to the CEO.

The role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies which will ensure the organisation is compliant and a low-risk organisation, with a strong focus on roles and responsibilities in Human resources. There could be other additional duties added at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

1. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

· Tertiary qualifications or 3 years demonstrated experience in business administration, human resources, or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience in healthcare or community services setting.

· Demonstrated experience in human resources management, including recruitment, performance management, safework practices, and compliance with employment laws.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Strong understanding of risk management and corporate governance principles.

· Managing Policies and Procedures, Strategic and Operational Plan as well as the Cultural Safety Framework.

· Commitment to culturally safe practices and the principles of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.

· Ability to effectively interpret award legislation in relation to payroll implementation.

· Current NSW Driver’s License

· Current NSW Working with Children Check

· Current National Criminal History Check

· Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)

2. DESIREABLE

· Knowledge of relevant legislation and Awards

· Experience in facilities management.

3. EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS

· Full-time, ongoing position

· Salary and benefits as per the award

· Location: Coonamble, Gilgandra or Dubbo
