Position Overview:We're searching for a rockstar Store Manager to lead our Team at Park Beach Plaza. If you live and breathe surf culture, have killer leadership skills, and retail experience, we want you! As our Store Manager, you'll ensure our store runs smoothly, customers leave happy, and our team feels stoked to come to work every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

• Achieve Targets: Ensure sales targets and Coopers Surf service standards are met and exceeded.
• Build Loyalty: Foster repeat business by looking after customer needs in the long term.
• Know Your Customer: Use questioning techniques to understand customers and sell appropriate products.
• Support Campaigns: Stay aware of marketing campaigns and promotions, supporting them through customer interactions.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain extensive product and brand knowledge to enhance the sales experience and build customer loyalty.
• Provide feedback on marketing promotions, product suitability, and general customer comments to improve store performance.

Operational:

• Team Mentoring & Training: Be the first point of call for all of your team members, you will be the leader of several team members and knowing their strengths and weaknesses will be vital to your store's performance.
• Team Support: Assist your team proactively to ensure training requirements are met and maintain a well-kept store environment.
• Maintain all Departments: Support the store lead department team in keeping their department well-presented and the backroom organized.
• Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and visually appealing, monitored by management.
• Training and Events: Attend key training sessions, brand, and stock information events.
• Stock Management: Handle and manage stock accurately.
• POS System: Operate the POS system accurately, following cash handling procedures.
• Personal Presentation: Maintain personal presentation in line with Cooper's Surf standards.
• Stock Levels: Monitor, maintain, and replenish stock levels to ensure the store looks full and tidy at all times.
• Theft Prevention: Manage theft using Cooper's Surf's loss prevention methods.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in retail is essential.
• Performance Management: experience with a medium-large team is an asset for the role.
• Passion: Love for surf culture and surf-related products.
• Skills: Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Leader: Ability to inspire and lead a team, providing real-time feedback.
• Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and holidays.
