About the role

Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the accountant, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact in maintaining the Town's financial services through effective management of creditors' and debtors' functions, compliance with taxation requirements, and supporting audit and compliance activities.
Part time applicants will be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining and processing of creditor invoices and creditors databases.
Assist with processing of Accounts Receivables
Prepare monthly reconciliations.
Assist with preparation of reports
Assist with maintaining Grants Register
Assist with Rates
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical knowledge and experience in a similar finance role.
Intermediate level of Microsoft 365.
Experience working with financial accounting systems.
Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service.
High-level communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Ability to build effective professional relationships and achieve organisational objectives.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
