Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) seeks a Finance Officer to provide accounts payable and receivable processing and accounting for the APHA Secretariat, which is in Barton, Canberra.

APHA is the peak national body representing the interests of the private hospital sector, with a diverse membership that includes large and small hospitals and day surgeries, for profit and not for profit hospitals, groups as well as independent facilities, located in both metropolitan and rural areas throughout Australia.

Reporting to the Director, Finance and Administration, the Finance Officer handles all account payable and accounts receivable processing, management of accounts receivable recovery, completion of weekly and monthly reconciliations and resolution of related issues as they arise.

The successful applicant will have at least five years' experience in an accounts payable and/or accounts receivable role. You will also need to demonstrate experience working with MS 365 applications, particluarly Excel, and have an excellent eye for detail.

This position is part time, four days per week 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The option for flexible working arrangements, including working from home, can be discussed after the probation period.

The hourly rate for this is $35 - $40 + 11.5% superannuation and free parking.
