Regional Youth Support Services (RYSS) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our dynamic team at the Youth Leadership & Resilience Hub — an innovative program that transforms the lives of vulnerable young people aged 10–17 across the Central Coast.

As a Youth Worker within our Youth Leadership & Resilience Hub, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to creating real change for at-risk young people aged 10–17 across the Central Coast. This role is more than providing support — it’s about empowering young people to break cycles of disadvantage, strengthen their resilience, and build meaningful pathways in life, education, and employment. You’ll be working within a well-respected community organisation with over 37 years of experience in delivering targeted, person-centred support that transforms lives. Working as part of an experienced and supportive team, you will:
✔️ Provide one-on-one and group-based support to young people
✔️ Empower young people to identify their goals and take positive action
✔️ Deliver wellbeing-focused programs, workshops, and creative initiatives
✔️ Support emerging mental health and psychosocial needs
✔️ Connect young people with vital services and community resources
✔️ Work flexibly across RYSS locations, The Hub, and in outreach settings across the Central Coast.
What You'll Bring
Certificate IV (minimum) in Youth Work, Social Work, Case Management or a related field
Experience working with at-risk or vulnerable young people
Understanding of trauma-informed, youth-centred, and strength-based practice
Knowledge of child protection, mental health, family support, and community services
Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Passion for making a real difference in young lives!
