Our team in Australia is growing and we now require a part time Payroll/HR Administrator to support the Human Resources Manager with the preparation and execution of the payroll process. The Payroll/HR Administrator is also responsible for accurately maintaining employee records and assisting the Human Resources Manager with general human resources tasks including but not limited to recruitment, training and legislative compliance.
Key Duties:
Support the Human Resources Manager in accurately processing fortnightly payroll
Liaise with Team Leaders and Managers to ensure timesheets are recorded accurately and approved prior to completing the payroll function
Onboard new employees in time and attendance system (TANDA), ensuring employees have completed onboarding prior to their first pay
Issue employment documents (contracts, job descriptions etc)
Accurately and confidentially maintain employee records and general human resources data
Assist with the recruitment process when required – drafting advertisements, positing advertisements on job boards (SEEK, Indeed etc), shortlist candidates using given criteria and liaise with candidates.
Assist with general administrative tasks.
Our ideal candidate:
Has administrative experience
Great attention to detail
Has some understanding of awards and how to interpret them
Highly motivated with a can do attitude
Some payroll experience highly advantageous but not required
Available to work 2-3 days per week (15 hours per week), ideally Monday to Wednesday
