My client is a Global Freight Forwarder with a standout brand and service across the world. As a leader in the Australasian logistics sector, they are an innovative service provider that embraces collaboration, customer service and logistics excellence. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add someone a Documentation Officer – Data Entry to their National Customs Team team based in Eagle Farm. You will work in a close-knit team with a strong focus on supporting key accounts, and process & compliance excellence.

The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing import / export documentation and accurately transposing this information into a clearance job. A keen eye for detail & Excel operating skills are key characteristics for success in this role. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Daily data entry of shipment commercial invoice and product information into CargoWise Operating System.
• Conversion of various electronic document formats into .xls format for data uploading
• Review documents to ensure commercial documentation (invoices, packing lists) match shipment document (Bill of Lading or Airway Bill)
• Assist Operations Team with clearance job registrations and accuracy of shipment information against received commercial documentation

Your Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role, ideally in freight forwarding or imports/exports
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel skills are essential) and basic PC skills
• Relationship-building skills and strong communication abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) is highly regarded
