We are seeking an energetic and results-driven State Sales Manager to join our expanding team. This role is crucial in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships. This is your chance to thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute significantly to our company's continued success. As the State Sales Manager, you'll act as a strategic partner with our Major Accounts and provide an executive presence to understand and guide our top customers through the best Equipment Hire and Crane solutions.

Supported by our very own Sales Academy training and development program, you will lead our team, tapping into potential client opportunities to generate new business and grow existing relationships.

This is a position for a talented sales professional with a passion for closing sales, and the track record to leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Enhance our team’s sales capability and lead by example
• Assist in developing the state sales strategy under the leadership of the General Manager.
• Implementation of sales strategies alongside growing existing sales team
• Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop the individual capabilities of your sales team
• Establish process and behaviours to achieve sustained growth across Victoria
• Identify & grow greater business with major accounts
• Lead by example in conducting site visits and client meetings with existing team

Qualifications

• 5 years' + sales management experience
• Worked in the construction, civil, infrastructure or a related market
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
• Focused and goal-oriented
