We seek an experienced Senior Dental Hygienist/ OHT who is dedicated to career development, to be a key member of our team. This is a clinical role, with a training program that will develop you into a leadership position. This career pathway leads to co-ordination of our Hygiene department, an advanced restorative and orthodontic skillset, and treatment coordination knowledge. Flexible with days, you will grow into 2-3 days/week.

We offer comprehensive dentistry, including restorative, orthodontics, cosmetics, implants, all with digital workflows and technology (photography, x ray sensors & Trios digital scanner). We have a dedicated hygiene program and use Airflow & EMS Piezon (No Pain) handpieces.

About You

You will be passionate about dentistry. A mature and a great communicator, who enjoys getting to know people, and is also empathetic and patient with our quirky community of older patients. We are looking for an innovative, adaptive and flexible, professional team player, with a growth mindset. Adult scope, experience in periodonal disease management, restorative dentistry and aligner therapy is necessary. Confidence and experience with Airflow, digital scanners, and rubber dam is a must.

What we are looking for someone who:

has at least 5 +years experience and the desire to learn and grow our practice

has excellent technical skills and a desire to learn and grow with our specific technology and techniques

has extensive experience in managing periodontal disease and knowledge of hygiene programs for continuing care

has the confidence and ability to work solo for Hygiene appointments

has a passion for restorative dentistry, (materials and techniques) and wants to learn from the Principal Dentist and attend external courses

has an interest to learn and adopt the clinic’s treatment planning and design philosophy

is an effective communicator: with patients, explaining treatment plans, procedures, cost and addressing any questions or concerns.

is collaborative: with the dental team to develop customised treatment plans based on patient needs and dental records.

provides exceptional patient care by following up post-treatment, ensuring satisfaction, and addressing any concerns that may arise.
