Purpose:
To provide high level customer and administrative support to the role of Director - Corporate Services. The position also has a secondary focus of governance support.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Current C (Car) Class Driver Licence
- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Business related discipline; or Attained through previous appointment, service and/or study, an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake the range of activities required
- Experience in providing executive level support within a corporate environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to liaise and network with stakeholders to source information for Council processes and documents.
- Demonstrated organisational skills to manage priorities within strict timeframes and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong attention to detail, and well-developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and correspondence and provide well considered and informed recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in using document management systems (e.g., Content Manager) to effectively and accurately manage records.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Suite of Software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills and apply new areas of knowledge e.g. within a legislative environment.
- Commitment to a team-based approach and experience in working with minimal supervision.

- Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023 - Stream A - Level 5
- Maranoa Locality Allowance - $72.00 per fortnight
